Nick Walker

Born 1969, UK, Bristol. Nick Walker is a living legend of street art and a man who revolutionized the canons of the stencil graffiti movement in the 1990s. He has been transcending the barriers between street, commercial and fine art ever since, always evolving and remaining original. Back in the early ’90s, he started combining stencils with his freehand work which allowed a collation of images that look like photographs and the instinctive sentiment related to conventional graffiti. Through his identifiable style and brilliantly funny humor, Nick Walker has conquered the art world. His artworks are best described as very sophisticated and endlessly desirable, and it's no wonder they jazz up any wall.

Message From The Artist

“I try to add an element of humor or irony to some paintings to add a little light relief to the walls. Painting is a form of escapism for me and if my work allows the spectator to do the same thing, then I’ve achieved more than I set out to do.”
