Jamie Reid

Born 1947 in England, London. A British artist and anarchist with ties to the Situationists. His work, featuring letters cut from newspaper headlines in the style of a ransom note, came close to defining the image of punk rock, particularly in the UK. Today, his works can be found in the collections of The Museum of Modern Art in New York, the Victoria and Albert Museum in London, and the Tate Gallery in London, among others. Reid lives and worked in London, United Kingdom.
